History of the NDOMO
The workshop and conservatory for natural dyeing Le Ndomo was inaugurated on January 4th, 2004 in Segou.
Its promoter is Mr Boubacar Doumbia of the Kassobané group.
Le Ndomo consists of:
A central workshop where young people apply the techniques of natural dyeing on various materials such as cotton fabrics, wood and leather.
A Drawing Room for designing, and a computer room.
An exhibition hall where you can see the leaves and bark of different dye plants that we use to dye fabrics. The hall also doubles as the small Le Ndomo mueum.
A retail store for selling products manufactured by Le Ndomo.
